"Orange" was really neat. We were at the coffee shop tonight and Jameson asked for a Cheeto by saying, "orange?". He has known "orange" as the fruit for a while now and readily asks for it, but here he has made the leap to abstraction where "orange" is no longer just a thing, but a property to be applied to all kinds of objects. Once we realized he had done this, I pointed out an orange soda in the display case which he then called "orange".
His language acquisition is astounding right now. It's really fun to watch!
