First Haircut

Jameson finally got his first haircut. His hair was starting to look pretty shabby and with 18months just around the corner I thought it was time to give him a big boy haircut. He did really well. He just kept saying no and it just broke my heart to keep him calm I held and rubbed his hand and sang softly to him. Then the mommy tears just started rolling I just couldn't believe 17 and half months ago I gave birth to a little 6 lb beautiful baby boy and here he is getting his first haircut. I had to try hard to stop the tears b/c then he would get nervous and begin to cry. So I just held his hand tighter and sang...my heart and love my baby boy.

Mommy not very happy about all his curls being gone:(

Tailgateing at the park

The temp in Toledo had finally gotten above 30 degrees and the sun was out it was such a nice break from the freezing temps and snow that we have been having. Before we left the to the park Jameson and mommy took a nice walk on our street with the dogs leaping around us excited to be out in the warm weather too with daddy lagging behind and trying to keep the dogs especially Nacho from crossing the street to Julie's looking for catfood. After a while of Jameson jumping into snow piles we decide to all load up in the car to take a walk at Wildwood. Jameson has recently not been taking his naps in his crib but will instantly fall his sleep in his sweet off-road-stroller a few minutes into our walk he was out. It is kinda nice that he sleeps in his stroller it gives mommy and daddy an oppotunity to have a little walking date. It was nice to be out everyone was out enjoying the warm day. It was fun to chat with people about their dogs and to see all the dogs out. After about an hour and half Jameson finally woke up. I felt bad that he didn't get to see all the people and dogs so we tailgated in the park parkinglot so he could see and say hi to all the people and doggies. I love all all our family adventures.

veg soup and swimming

We went swimming this weekend and my boys had a blast. I was surprised that Jameson dealt with well with all the noise and people. Jameson by the end was starting to jump in the water. Sorry about the foggy pics but there was a hole lot of steam coming off the warm water.

I know mommy gave him her wallet to keep him happy while we got dressed sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Nice booty buddy:)

He made veg soup out of his water.

Congrats little man you got a full spoon of cereal in your mouth. Jameson has been practicing eating with a spoon and he is getting better and better at it:)

Jameson just loves to be read to and he is now identify characters, animals, colors and numbers in books.

He loves to play with mommy's balloons. He walks around with them stuck to his leg.

birthday bowling

Instead of rolling the ball Jameson would kick the ball down to the pins, he loved doing this but would get so upset b/c he couldn't chase it down the lane. But we would distract him by having him watch for the ball to come out of the the ball return thing.

For my birthday we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant the Thai Rose and Bumper Bowling with Jameson we had so much fun. Jim made a real effort to make me happy and he did. I am done feeling sorry for myself I have a really great life and I have to always remember what my father told me before he died he said "linda always try to be happy" I love you dad and I promise that I will try...

Go Obama!

We went to Jim's department inauguration party. I am so happy to have an inspiring president.
