Dog Sledding without the sled

Jameson went on his first dog sled ride without the sled at fifteen months, at the christmas tree farm. At first we weren't going to do it b/c we didn't have the cash but I did everything I could to get it and we came up with it. I wasn't going to let the lack of cash let this experience pass us by. Daddy was terrified to let Jameson go but bucked up and handed him over to me in the cart. I admit it was dangerous especially since we weren't strap in or anything.I was just holding on to him with my arms and pressing my feet against the rails as hard as I could. I am already sore. The ride was bumpy and fast! I was amazed at the strength and speed of the dogs.

Meet the dogs, they were so sweet, friendly and sensitive but could maybe harm you. They reminded me a lot of Skye. Jameson wasn't a bit afraid of them.

Lining up the team. The dogs were leaping and yelping they just couldn't wait to get started.

Get ready get set GO!

I held on tight to my son and enjoyed every second. The ride felt very free knowing that we were pulled by only an animal and one of Jameson and I's favorite. I thought maybe he would cry but he didn't cry at all, he just kept saying good dog after everytime the driver would say it.

Another favorite animal.

15 months Well Visit

We are so proud! You did so well at your well check up. You cooperated so well with the doctor and nurse, you smiled and counted to two. Dr. Jarra was very impressed. And we had to get your blood drawn to test for lead and of course you did amazing you just looked at the nurse put the needle into your arm and that was it you didn't cry or anything. What a good and brave boy, you were. You weighed 20.11 ounces and are 30 inches long.

Baby Legs

I just love your cute, chubby baby legs

15 months today

I can't believe it Buddy. You are fifteen months. I can still remember the first time I held you and felt your soft newborn skin and here you are fifteen months and doing so well. You say at least a dozen words. Your newest words are picture, Bird (for Skyebird our dog), cow, frog, bug, Goerge, Baby and "yu think" that Aunt Yolonda taught you. And today you nodded your head yes in respones to a question, amazing!Right now you are also hooked on Baby Einstein, which is not very good but we will try to cut it down to at leasts three times a day instead of five!LOL

Oh and you are such a little flirt with the ladies you blow kisses to pretty young girls especially college girls but not to Mommy.LOL

Daddy and I had a lot of fun with you at pumkins class you are such a little athlete.
Love big hug and kiss

Fun times at Grandma's and Grandpa's

You took all the wipes out the box and started playing and bouncing on the bed with them, then took them and strung them all over the house. As grandpa would say "looks like a bomb went off in here"

Firsts

We had a lot of first times today. As he approaches 15 months his language and understanding skills have really taken off. Today we shared a sandwich, he used he new top teeth to take actual bits from my sandwich. And today he helped me in the kitchen by recycling a plastic bottle for me and he helped make muffins. He helped put the muffin cups in the muffin pan, poured in the water, helped mix and put the mix in the muffin cups. what a big boy!
I think I under estimate his motor skills and understanding sometimes but from now on I am going to try to include him in more things and talk to more as big boy rather than a baby. I am amazed on how quickly he is growing up.
Big hugs and kisses buddy.

First Painting

My little artist. He amazed the family center employee girls with his talent and cute looks. He did a really great job using the brush and paints. When I took the brush away he used his fingers and hands and even decided he would make painting music by drumming the paint on!

Splashing around

First time experiencing puddles! He loved the splashing sound. It was cold but I didn't want to deny him the experience! He cried so hard when I told him it was time to go but I figured a couple of hours was long enough:)

Turkey Program at Oak Openings

Closely studying the pine cone he found. When he was done studying it he tried to bury it the grass.

Keeping up with the big kids. Ahh isn't he just adorable...I can hardly take it.

So we squeezed into a preschool program. When I registered for the program all it said was preschool and I thought well if it kicks me out when I enter his age then we of course won't go but it didn't so we went and I took my chances. As soon we entered the building the women asked how old he was and I told her one I thought she was going to turn us away. But she was nice enough and didn't but if he started crying we were to leave. I told her that he wouldn't cry and would be a perfect boy and of course my angle was! He fit right in with the big kids and I think even behaved better. He enjoyed doing the craft, hearing the story and absolutely loved the hike. A few of the adults complemented on his behavior and his sweet demeanor. I said thank you and said he is just such special little soul.
Again buddy I love you with everything I am...

Our Weekend

Being a goofy boy
Some day you are going to read this my little love and think wow mommy you were just a big ball of sappiness and your right but I just can't express how amazing I think you are and how proud i am to be your mother. We had a fun this weekend even though everyone was sick, we still got out and played and this weekend you really started taking some strides towards walking. And tonight you especially made mommy proud and almost cry tonight you played the piano at Amy and Brian's house. You placed your cute little fingers over the keys like a true pianist. Every time you made a beautiful sound you cheered and when you didn't you tried until did.
